Pope Francis announced that 2021 is the Year of Saint Joseph, honoring the 150th anniversary of the proclamation of Saint Joseph as the patron of the universal Church

Despite the weather, energy and enthusiasm were high among the helpers for the Advent Food/Clothing drive. Nearly all of the confirmation class (and friends) cheerfully participated to collect the generous donations.

The Respect Life Ministry resumed our parish “Swaddle” collection of disposable diapers. The need for disposable diapers is huge.

RCIA begins on Wednesday, October 14th at 7pm.

The Vatican announced that Pope Francis has appointed three new auxiliary bishops for the Archdiocese of Chicago: Bishops-elect Kevin M. Birmingham, Jeffrey S. Grob and Robert J. Lombardo, CFR. The episcopal ordination of the bishops-elect will take place on the feast of St. Francis Xavier Cabrini, November 13, 2020.

On July 21st, Brennan Eaheart with other volunteers mulched the beds by the street, north of the school, the rectory and the Burke Center.

Brennan Eaheart, from Scout Troop 342, worked together with 13 other volunteers on weeding, planting, and mulching the front beds near Dixie Highway.

Beginning Tuesday, July 7, morning Mass will resume at 8:30a.m., Tuesday thru Friday.
